If you have a Laptop then you will not need any extra hardware except the cabling required. However, if you have a deskyop computer skip these and go below of this post. The cabling required is depends on what connections available on your Laptop, like VGA, S-Video, HDMI.

Where one connection will go your desktop monitor while the other will be connected to your TV as discussed above by using VGA to RCA cable.
